C&H Precision Mounting Plate

I have seen a couple of comments in regards to the optics plate that comes with the new kimber 2k11s. I just bought the pro and I am curious is it just that the screws that people have had issues with or is it the plate as well? Do I actually need to change the plate or do I just need to invest in better screws. Thanks!
