New with 2 SVT’s in 3 Days

Hi. I’m very new to this. 3 days ago I had BPM in the 170’s for an extended period and my wife called an ambulance that took me to ER. The ER doc had me try the maneuvers but BPM remained around 184. I got 6mg of Adenosine (so weird) and that worked. I thought of the incident as rare for me, yet the same scenario happened again tonight. ER doc has referred me to a cardiologist who he thinks will want to perform an ablation. Isn’t it too soon to consider that procedure?
