The balancing of the game is fundamentally broken

:BalanceDiscussion:Balance Discussion

From the moment the game opened to playtest, the game was doomed from the start. There are two glaring issues, healing is over tuned and ranged characters are treated with blatant favoritism. Hela, a high damage SNIPER, can two tap you from any range. The character that has a stun guarantee hit, the character that has an invincible getaway ability. The character that generates more value for less resources in MELEE RANGE than melee heroes. Spiderman, Black Panther, Magik, Mr. Fantastic, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Blade, have less kill potential in their own range than Hela. When Magik, a melee hero, has fall off on her sword whereas Hela (a sniper) can immediately kill you at point blank range, there is a problem. The release of Phoenix only exaggerated this issue, somehow being even worse than Hela. High burst damage at both close and long distance, a STUN, a TELEPORT, FLIGHT, PASSIVE HEALTH REGEN, a high damage ultimate (that can literally one shot most characters when damage boosted) that FULLY REGENERATES your health and makes you invincible while casting. The balancing is completely horrendous and lopsided. What is the point of such an extensive and interesting hero roster when 90% of that roster is blatantly disregarded? When you can just pick a character that essentially has no weakness? Whereas on the other hand, there are characters that are completely neglected. Human Torch, Storm, Squirrel Girl, Iron Man, Black Panther; these characters serve no real purpose. The only characters in the entire game that seem to be genuinely well designed by being strong and balanced are Daredevil, Mantis, Psylocke, Captain America, and Groot (these aren't the only balanced characters but they're good examples of being very strong characters while simultaneously being interactable by the rest of the roster). These characters prove that NetEase can design a hero with a definite purpose, a decently high skill ceiling, and weaknesses that allow them to seamlessly mesh in a competitive setting. If I start diving into the gray areas like Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, and Moon Knight, This post would be too long so I'll move onto the Support portion. First of all, it's too much. There is SO MUCH healing. Once you reach a certain competitive level in this game, Supports have the most initiative out of any role, hands down. That is objective fact. Their kits provide ridiculous amounts of value for such little skill expression. For example, if a player decided to get good at Spiderman because they found the character fun and interesting, they have to commit countless hours of effort, training and repetition to consistently generate value from that character. All of that commitment is shut down by a single Cloak & Dagger Bubble, Loki lamp, or Invisible Woman's shield. The issue isn't that they have tools to counter dive, the issue is that these tools require ZERO SKILL. There is absolutely nothing skill expressive about clicking a single button and popping a Loki lamp, rendering the Spiderman completely useless. It makes no sense. At least in the case of Luna Snow's snowball (her only form of anti dive) it's a skill shot. You should not be able to generate infinite value from a simple click of a button, that makes no sense. There needs to be a trade off. At the core of it though, Supports do too much healing, it makes the game boring. there's little to no room to make a play because all damage is immediately outhealed; the damage to healing ratio is unbalanced completely in Support's favor. Balancing in this game is completely erratic and nonsensical and it genuinely saddens to see a game with such a great foundation and IP slowly be destroyed from the inside out by people who clearly don't know what they're doing.
