Esembly honest reviews?
Hi, I’m very new to cloth diapering. I have a toddler who I just started cloth diapering and also another baby on the way and wanting to invest in a full set of Esembly. It’s really important to me that polyester not be touching my baby’s skin directly so I love that their inners are 100% organic cotton. The outers are also super cute and the whole system seems easy enough to figure out.
My only concerns with them are about cleaning poop after 6 months+ once baby starts solids. I know that breastmilk poop is water soluble so this wouldn’t be a concern until the baby is older but their directions say to never pre-rinse or spray the poop out of the inner and then put it in the wet bag because that can make the inner mold or wear them down over time. They instead suggest using their tossers or inserts which I honestly don’t want to pay extra for, I would rather just use the inners and outers. You also never know when your baby is going to poop so it seems excessive to use those in every diaper which is another reason I don’t want to.
So if you have used Esembly for an older baby, how did you navigate that specific part of washing them? I would also love to hear from people in general who used Esembly and hear the pros and cons. Thank you!
