Ways to make stoma shrink on command?

I have a large loop stoma. Since it has to be a pain in the ass and constantly move, changing sizes in the process, I can occasionally feel it against the edge of my bag. My stoma has been cut from having my bag cut too small before, and I try to avoid doing that again... but I still get a few minutes a day of my stoma going max size and pushing against the cut-out edge.

Has anyone found a way to make their stoma shrink or retract on command when it tries showing off? Do I just need to get a drink out of the fridge and put it on my bag for a minute to bring this thing down, if that would even work?
