You can't spoil a 5 month old!

Sleep

I knew it was coming eventually. My baby is almost 5 months old. My MIL is babysitting for the first time this Friday while I'm at work (normally I only work weekends when my husband is home but work asked if I could pick up an extra day this week). I wrote out our "schedule" for her... mostly just roughly what we do during the day. In there I put that my son almost exclusively contact naps during the day. I've tried putting him in the crib to nap but he wakes up again right away and then ends up over tired and cranky. He sleeps in the pack n play in our room great at night. I don't care yet where he sleeps during the day as long as he gets the naps he needs. Her response... "well ok, if you want to spoil him". I could not have rolled my eyes any further into my head. I told her, you can't spoil him, he's too young for that. I don't think she'll let him CIO or anything. She'll do what I say but good lord... spoil a 5 month old by letting him contact nap... sigh.
