Do people care which fingers are used in fingboard?

Im genuinely curious because i dont use my middlefinger for my tail but actually use my 4th finger instead. i make my own boards a slight bit longer than a traditional tech deck so it feels very comfortable. i really dont care that much about what people think but is it wierd?
