Two days after lip piercing: I got 10-15 Mouth Ulcers

Vertical labret in bottom lip. No irritation around the actual site of the vertical labret in my bottom lip. It’s on my gums, beneath my tongue, and in my throat. They all came on spontaneously, and came after 2-3 days of no complications.

Are these related? Should I wait for them to subside or should I take the piercing out asap?
