Microcheating?

So I decided to introduce my boyfriend to Nana and started rewatching the series with him. He noticed Hachi flirting around with Mizukoshi (honestly with every other guy she sees) and hated it because he considered it cheating. Personally, I would never go around thinking about other people like Hachi did but also I don’t see it as something too crazy. Logically, it sort of makes sense that he doesn’t like this aspect… however Bf doesn’t know about Hachi’s unfortunate relationship status later down the series.

This new perspective is making me rethink the Shoji cheating part. Who do you think cheated first? Because this gives Shoji SOME (keyword: SOME) incentive to become less emotionally attached to nana, especially if he knew of her behaviour. Not defending Shoji cheating… but it also adds a lot more sense to Junko’s siding with Shoji.
