How Nightclub technicians actually work with linked businesses

I’m trying to understand the relationship between Nightclub warehouse stock and the linked businesses. If I assign technicians to categories like bunker or other linked businesses, does the Nightclub create its own stock passively as a separate system, or does it depend on the linked business having supplies and producing stock. Do I need to actively resupply and run sales for the linked businesses for the Nightclub to keep generating warehouse goods, or is it enough that the business is set up, active, and not shut down. Finally, is there a way to view the production or sourcing status per technician or per business from the Nightclub computer, beyond just seeing the Nightclub warehouse stock bars.
