How much a researcher paper will help?

Im a Indian student who will be in 11th grade in few weeks I'm applying for schorlships specifically MEXT, and FYI I'm learning japanese and will give exam of JLPT in July. My question is how much will a researcher paper will help, I'm planning to study agriculture. My grades in 9th were 62% and 10th should be 80% (not out yet cuz I'm in State board) but in 11th and 12th I'm making sure I get 90% it above to lessen the compition. Comming back to the main topic, I'm thinking of writing a research paper on refinement of agricultural methods in Tea plantation. Since I live in Assam and my father works as a General manager in a tea estate and lived through many tea estates I'm more exposed to it. But my concern is how much will it help because managing Studies, extracurricular, japanese study and research paper imo will be very hectic, but if anyone is wondering I like writing research papes I did one on physics cannot complete it because of my kid terms and boards. If anyone can help I will be greatful 🙂
