Advice for teenagers who are getting geo restricted from social media, and how I bypassed it (as an AU)

Hey everyone! Knowing that a lot of governments are attempting to follow in the footsteps of my own, here’s how I avoided age assurance on my social medias :)

# General rules

- Use the best grammar you can possibly do. Avoid one liners and spelling mistakes.

- Use a VPN (I personally use PrivadoVPN with OpenVPN scramble protocol on my laptop) for anything you can

# TikTok and Twitter

Use it ONLY on Web with a VPN until the ban comes through; then, it shouldn’t kick you off for using your native IP.

# Reddit

View NSFW subs. No need to scroll them, just sit on the title page. Influences it GREATLY.

Make a NSFW post. Just mark it as it. On your own subreddit, if need be. No need to actually have anything NSFW. Just post a normal image marked as NSFW.

# Tumblr

I don’t have anything for this. I just used my dad’s gun license, since I started using it after the ban.

# YouTube

Good grammar is key.

Don’t post videos of your face, especially if you have a baby face. This nearly got me flagged.

# Snapchat

VPN rule. I used it ONLY on Web with a VPN until now and I didn’t get so much as an alert.
