My friend got banned from DBD and is blaming me and Steam Family Sharing

That's basically what the title says; I'll try to be brief in the explanation to see if this makes any sense. Here we go: we've been part of a Steam Family since it was still in beta. My DBD account on Steam has been banned for almost 6 years now. Yesterday, a friend of ours was playing on his account when he suddenly disconnected; when he reopened the account, there was a ban notice for exploits, cheating, etc. Now he's blaming me, saying it's the fault of my Steam ban — WHICH WAS PRACTICALLY 6 YEARS AGO! If everyone in the family were to be banned from DBD because of my ban, it should have happened a long time ago, especially since we have another friend in the family who is also banned in DBD. But somehow it's my fault?
