I was looking to upgrade form i5 11gen w/ 32gb ddr4 to 7700x w16gb. This a good idea even though i downgrade on ram?

I dont know if we ask here, but to those of you with 16 GB how you guys holding up? I was planning to upgrade i5 11gen /32gb ddr4 to ryzen 7700x and 16gb ddr5. I am trying to stay on budget and micro center not near me.
