MH Wilds feels way too easy now, even after Omega Salvage and every Archtempers

Discussion

Hey hunters,

I’ve been playing Monster Hunter Wilds a lot lately, mostly as a pure support Hunting Horn main, and honestly the game feels way too easy right now — especially after spending some time with the latest update.

When Omega Salvage first dropped, I actually felt some challenge. The fights were intense, positioning mattered, and mistakes were punished. But after a while, once people learned the mechanics and optimized builds, everything started to fall apart difficulty-wise.

Now, especially in teams with Hunting Horn (or even double HH like my squad), it feels like we’re completely unkillable. Full buffs nonstop, insane sustain, damage boosts, stamina, defense — combine that with Omega Salvage gear and even the new Arch-Temper monsters just don’t feel threatening anymore. Most hunts turn into a clean, smooth run with almost zero pressure.

I love playing support and enabling my team, but right now it feels like there’s no real risk. A lot of players I know — especially HH teams — feel the same way: once you pass that early Omega Salvage phase, the game becomes way too forgiving.

So I’m genuinely wondering: when are we getting truly brutal endgame content? Like a Rank 10-star quest or something that actually pushes optimized teams to their limits. I want hunts where mistakes matter again, where timing and coordination are critical, not just constant buff uptime and steamrolling monsters.

Anyone else feeling this? Or is it just HH teams breaking the game right now?

Roars and riffs,
A support HH main 🎵🦴
