Constant troubleshoot looping randomly

I recently tried to install the new windows update, as i was doing so i walked away from my computer for a bit and when I came back It was on the troubleshooting repair page. I've been through tutorial after tutorial and i still can't even get back on my desktop, let alone off the troubleshooting page. If anyone can give me some pointers on how to get my computer back, It would be much appreciated.
