First apartment at 25 after Military

Hi everybody. As the title says, I am looking to get an apartment soon as I just finished up 6 years in the Marine Corps. I’ve been renting a room from a buddy since July when I got out, but now I’m looking to get my one space when I (hopefully) get a new job soon.

Just curious, what are some things you guys would recommend adding to my space? It’ll be all up to me, so I can do whatever I want for the first time and I’m looking for interesting ideas. For instance, I’ll be setting up my projector in the living room instead of a TV.

Might be random, but just looking for cool ideas. Thank you!
