A throwaway for obvious reasons. Women, in particular my wife, have a way with sleuthing and catching me out. My marriage has almost broken down several times due to previously being caught out serial cheating. In every instance, the most innocuous way, whether it be because I've had my contacts synced on my throwaway snap, or haven't completely cleared deleted texts, my wife has always been one step ahead of me.

I quickly learned it wasn't worth it, whatever tracks I thought I'd covered, there were always loose ends I hadn't considered. We worked through it, and I have remained faithful for over 2 years.

Whether it be hubris I'm not sure, entitlement, or poor impulse control, here I am and feel the risk is worth it.
