AITA For Cutting Off My Friend Of 5 Years?

Alright heres the story.

Me (20M) and my friend (21M)

We’ve been friends for about 5 years now, We met in high school, he’s a great guy when you get to know him good. But there is something about him that I get pretty irritated about, He’s a Perfectionist. If he loses in anything he WILL be mad about it for more than a day.

Anyway let’s move onto the story because I don’t want to get into the details about him lol.

Alright so. He’s been constantly getting on my nerves for the past couple of months. Every time we play video games and I just so happen to do something wrong. He won’t say “aw don’t worry about it dude” or “we can try again bro” no. He will Go into full rage mode and start cussing me out for not doing what he wants to do. His ego is very high, I’ve learned that a while ago. Usually when he gets mad like that, it takes a while for him to calm down. But this time? I’m over it. So Last night we were playing Among Us (no we had nothing else to play) and I’ve been getting a little suspicious about him cheating on the game. Like someone called starting trash talking him and for some reason he told me “why is this guy trash talking me” even though no one was talking to him. So I decided, when I die I will trash talk him (just to clarify my suspicions) and what do you know? He for some reason says “yo who are you talking to” and I say “how’d you see what I typed?” And he tried changing the subject saying “oh uh I have a mod that can see who types in ghost” which is literally cheating. So the next time we play I decided to cheat (yes yes I know, just hear me out) and during the game he gets killed but. Instead of just waiting in the lobby, he decides to go play a whole other game. So after we got out the impostor, the round ended and I don’t realize that he wasn’t in the lobby. I would assume that he knew because there’s literally a sound that plays when the round is over. But he was too focused on whatever other game he was playing to even care. So we get into a new lobby and not even a minute later he yells into the mic saying “WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME WE WERE IN ANOTHER GAME?” as I stated I thought he would’ve known. So I told him that and he starts getting even more frustrated. So I just tell him sorry and move on with it. And he says “screen share the game” so I did and while I was screen share I uh.. accidentally forgot to close out my cheat menu. And he says “yo do you have a rock in your head why are you cheating in among us? That’s so sad lmao” even though last night he was literally cheating too. And every other time we played he would always get the 3 imposters out without any solid evidence. So he leaves the call and says “have fun playing on your own” and blocks me. So at this point I’m just over it. I’m just like “ykw maybe this is for the best” so I completely cut him off. (Blocked him on literally everything) usually after we get into arguments like this he comes crawling back like nothing happened. But this time? I’m done.
