What does being a bather entail?

Sorry if this question is stupid I was wondering cause me and my friends work in different salons with the same pay (barely minimum wage ahahaha) and we have different workloads so we’re trying to figure out what’s the average workload

Ive been working for a few months at the salon I work at, I do reception, and I do some basic admin stuff like scheduling, answer calls, and consultations with clients and recordkeeping . I also preclip, do prep like nails paw pads and ears and stuff and ofc bath blow dry, deshed and demat if needed, if I’ve got time then the groomers may get me to do a second clipping after blowdry. My friends say I’m overworked and they just have to bath and blowdry for work, only sometimes preclip and nails but I feel like bathers should do prep work too? Does it just vary from salon or should I ask my manager to give me a break cause I’m kind of feeling muscle pain
