GPU-Related Crashes

Hardware

A while back a friend sent me his old gpu as an upgrade, and after installing it and updating drivers it ran well. After a day or two though, it started crashing at random times. The screen would freeze and eventually cut out, and I would have to restart the computer. I removed the graphics card and the crashing stopped

I recently got a new power supply thinking that might solve the issue, but after installing it and the gpu again crashes resumed after a few days. The crashes so far have been listed in the reliability panel as 141 LiveKernelEvent

Ran a ram test yesterday and it didn't yield any notable results. Removed a stick thinking it might be an issue with mis-matched ram, but crashing still continued

Has anyone else had similar issues, or know what might be going on?
