Probably not the Target Audience but....

I'm a nearly 50 year old gay may and was feeling particularly dead inside. I loved books like BSC , Fear Street, and Sweet Valley growing up, obviously. I recently started a retro reread of the BSC for giggles and nostalgia. That got me looking at small down mystery, romance, and drama series and I picked up the first book of the Gold Rush Ranch Series and I AM OBSESSED , Billie is sharp and quick witted and being a forever Buffy fan I will always root for a strong FMC. I think im already hooked, there may never be a gay male character even in the background and I dont even care. Im already so in! ​her writing just sorta grabs you so easily by the hand and introduces you to her world and characters. Up until this very moment I read nothing but supernatural,horror, murder mystery , dark romance things, so happy I decided to try something new.
