Marine officer/ocs

Curious if becoming marine officer and going through ocs is worth it? Im currently in rotc program. Im 17 - have associates degree, graduated early, 4.0 ect. and considered enlisting but Im considering dropping rotc and applying straight for ocs and going marine officer? I am female if that changes things. I feel the marine corps will give me purpose.
