Order added to me without my consent.

Last night things were super busy because everyone was ordering in due to the cold spell. I accepted a single order because it was on my home for the evening.

As I was driving to the restaurant, I got an add-on offer from the same restaurant for 1.95. No freaking way am I accepting an add-on order in the snow for less than 2 dollars so I decline it and then go to the screen to stop incoming requests because I know once you decline an offer, they will keep hammering you until you accept another one especially when it was as busy as last night was.

I'm 100% sure that I didn't accept a stacked order or the add-on. I get into the restaurant, open my app and there's still only one order. I confirm the order in front of the restaurant worker, and then another freaking order appeared in my app. The restaurant worker saw it as well. Of course, I cancelled that second order, but it's just CRAZY that they added the order to me without my permission especially when I'd already turned off incoming orders. I can't say for sure it was the 1.95 order but I think it's safe to assume it was.

I've searched around and see this has happened to other people, but I also saw that a lot of people doubted them and assumed they must have accidentally accepted a double order. I might have even believed that myself but the restaurant worker saw it as well. I'm 100% sure it wasn't a stacked order when I took it and the order was not there when I opened my phone to show the restaurant worker what order I needed. The place was really loud so I showed him my phone screen instead of screaming and there was only one name there.

The second order only appeared after I accepted the first order. Oddly enough, I had to accept the first order a second time for some reason. It was like it had reset itself or something. Then I had to cancel the second order. I really would have doubted this was possible until it happened to me. Sucks I had to effect my cancellation rate but no way am I accepting a 2 dollar order. This really does happen, folks. CRAZY but 100% true.
