fake reddit stories

Rants

i know there's been posts about smosh using fake stories sometimes but i just wanted to see what people think about this one. on the newest wholesome reddit stories video, the last story seemed incredibly over written and possibly even ai generated at some points. in nearly each paragraph, there was some kind of trope or fanfiction-y line of dialogue, like the "he looked at me with his piercing green eyes" and "he spoke so smooth like butter", and the whole "i'm for sure gay except for this one singular perfect, angelic, literally unreal man who swept me off my feet to fix my gayness!"- are u kidding lol... it came across as so fake & contrived, and while it's not the first time it's happened on a reddit stories video, this one bothered me.

of course it's totally fair for a real person to have a fluid sexuality, come to terms with sexuality & feelings later on in life after coming out one way, but it seems incredibly biphobic to just insist "no i'm completely gay except for this man i've been in love with for my whole life". i'm bisexual and don't understand why it's such a hard concept for people to grasp, if you came out as gay once, why would it be so impossible to realize that u are bi? fake-ness aside, bisexual erasure is rampant even on smosh videos. what did yall think about this one, particularly if u are also lgbt+ i'd like to know ur thoughts!
