a little help with progression

I'm currently in the swamp biome, with a full set of troll armor and bear claws, all at level 3 (the maximum level I can reach). I'm struggling with everything; 1-star archers can one-shot me even when I have high HP. I've picked up a lot of iron armor. I can even handle draugr alone with parries, but I can't handle anything else. I could make iron armor, but I don't want to lose much movement speed. Can anyone tell me what I should do in this biome to get stronger? The Dark Forest gave me several armor options, so I assumed this one would too, but so far nothing. I wanted to continue with this pattern of fists and faster movement.
