Terminated

Here’s my rant…For 5 good months I kept my nose clean, out of trouble, did everything I was supposed to do as an employee. But in the end I go terminated over a crude joke I told to a partner over the situation that’s being going on this past week ( people buying product in massive quantities). The gravity of the joke i would consider it inappropriate. But flat out firing me instead of giving me write up is just flat out ridiculous. Let’s Considering the fact that I’m fully aware of a lot that is going on in this store .. older employees grooming the 17 year olds.. racial slurs… employees hooking up with the whole department but then again. I drew the short straw and got fried because of a comment, which was false . What happened to innocent until proven guilty ? Anyways the lesson here is don’t trust anyone, there’s always a snitch in every department and keep your nose down. If a lead from any store reads this, feel free to message me about this situation, my termination was brief and odd, they just wanted me out the store .
