Osprey Fairview 55L Backpack

Hi guys. I just need advice. I’m planning on investing a good backpack for local and international trips and I’ve been eyeing an Osprey Fairview ideally the 40L but all thats available in stores is the 55L.

I just wanted on some advice if anyone has tried traveling with the Osprey Fairview 55L LOCALLY as a CARY-ON. I just wanted to know if an airline has ever stopped your bag or had problems with it etc.
