In defense of the recent ICE attacks, a family member just told me “Even Jesus kicked people out of the temple.” Is this sentiment towards ICE shared broadly by Christians?

The logical implications are that ICE=Jesus, USA=The Temple, and immigrants=moneychangers. I personally think the analogy is abhorrent, but wanted to poll other Christians to see your thoughts on the proposed parallel.
