Friend went on a rant about how she hates men after her boyfriend broke up with her. Is this a good response?

“Look man l'm just going to be honest, what you said just wasn't okay. I understand if your hurting and whatever you feel is probably for valid reasons. your allowed to hate guys like that but a blanket statement like what you said just isn't okay in my opinion.

Like I couldn't wouldn't and shouldn't say stuff like that, much less to your face, I hope you can hold yourself to the same standards otherwise I'm going to need to give you some time to figure out how you feel about things.”
