Further validation of SOFCs as BE competitor FCEL looking to grow 10x
FCEL teased increasing SOFC manufacturing capacity a few weeks ago at earnings: At 41 MW capacity now, growing to 100 MW this year, and potentially to 350 MW after that.
A couple days ago, they announced a partnership to help them deploy 450 MW to datacenters. (Stock pumped on this.)
So FCEL wants to 10x sales. FCEL does less than 1/10th the deployments BE does at the moment. This level of SOFC demand at small player like FCEL teases how much demand there must be for BE. Bullish demand validation for Bloom in my opinion.
(And recall GEV recently announced their own SOFC platform launching in a couple years.)
