Neurogenic Dysphagia

Hi, I had a surgery where a surgeon severed part of my vagus nerve, I was supposed to be having a different surgery but he switched it while I was unconscious. I woke up completely paralyzed, unable to trigger a swallow reflex, and my epiglottis wouldn't invert at all. They installed a feeding tube after diagnosing 'profound difficulty swallowing.'

Over the past year there was partial reinnervation, some function returning. I can trigger a swallow now, but not with enough force or precision to eat solids, anything sticky, or scattering. The only food I can eat unassisted is banana (soft, moist, cohesive, not adhesive).

I saw am SLP for about half a year, she said 'everyone aspirates' used a wire with a camera through my nose and said 'swallow looks good.'

I can swallow liquids, water is completely harmless, others are hit and miss. I can get some in airway and get bitter phlegm that I have to cough up. Right now my health is in really bad shape, I developed pudendal neuralgia and can't sit long enough to travel to get a modified barium swallow which is what I wanted and my SLP said she couldn't do that.

Is there any insight, or a useful direction if and when I can travel again? I'm stuck here, with glossopharyngeal neuralgia (touching tongue can trigger episodes when it is active), dysphagia, and now pudendal neuralgia (can't sit much at all without severe pain, and can't walk far enough to get anywhere). I regurgitate and have severe reflux when I tube feed, pretty much no matter what I do. My body doesn't tolerate it. But orally I can kind of do boost or ensure, or stuff like that. The only formula that ever worked for me (Promote With Fiber) was discontinued. I couldn't tolerate any of the others.

The only trick I found that works for solids is to chew them very thoroughly, put water in my mouth and swallow it like a pill. I can regularly get cheese sandwich and a few others without problems, but it's not fully safe or reliable. No other technique works, things just get stuck or worse head towards airway.
