arrow suddenly catches on fire?

idk what flair to put this but i was fighting the ender dragon on my hardcore world, and my bow was unenchanted. suddenly while shooting the enderdragon while perching it just catches on fire and hits me? then the dragon to proceeds to launch me up then launch me 100 blocks away. i am genuinely confused on what happened
