Bought a Thermal Spa Pass precruise through the App

Will be on Encore in April and wanted to get Spa pass purchased so it’s just done and I don’t have to run up to the Spa to buy it when I first get on the boat. Also, did not want to NOT get one!

I noticed that, a couple weeks ago, on the website, the Spa section of things to do was finally listing “Thermal Spa Pass’ and so I tried to actually buy one. When I clicked on the “get pricing” button, it took me the screen that should have had the price but instead of a number it said “Spa passes not currently available for purchase” and suggested a couple of options, one of which was to wait until the cruise.

I received an email from NCL on Thursday night about things I could add to make my cruise even better. I clicked on the link in the emails out of curiosity, and one of the items they listed was the Spa pass. So I clicked on the Spa pass link; while i could have made the purchase through this email, I would have had to buy a Spa pass for both of us, and my husband is not interested in having a Spa pass. At least though, I figured this meant that Spa passes COULD be purchased pre cruise. So I was planning to call NCL about it.

This morning, I decided to try to see if I could buy it through the app before calling. And interestingly, the APP allowed me to buy one Spa pass. This made me happy.

I am not sure this will work for every boat for every cruise so I apologize in advance if it doesn’t. I just thought I would share my story in case anyone else wants to try to procure a SPA pass before they cruise.
