36 [F4M] #Canada/Online - Bored and looking for fun people to chat with, help spice up my weekend?

Its a cold and cozy Saturday night, I've spent the entire day in bed juggling between watching The Mentalist and Younger, making and eating chicken (and snacking on a myriad of stuff), and being in a state of general vegetation, haha.

I have pretty busy weekdays and sometimes work on the weekends, didn't have to work this weekend so I'm majorly taking the time to rest. Feeling bored and restless, maybe talking to some lovely folks on here might help?

About me:

- Short, curvy, Black.

- Obsessed with music, I pretty much have music on almost all day everyday. I have a very varied and eclectic taste in music but if I had to pick my go to genres I'd pick: rock (including hard, soft, pop, alt rock), folk, indie. In no particular order. I like moody, melancholic sounds. But I'd listen to pretty much anything, as long as its good music.

- I'd pick TV series over movies, anyday. The continuity and immersion into alternate realities even for a little while helps me escape this lonely existence and live vicariously through others, lol! I love sitcoms, horror, fantasy, thrillers.

- I love to read, even though I fell way off on this one for a while but have started picking it back up. Now, I never leave home without a book. I don't really read nonfiction, I enjoy YA books, fantasy, horror, thrillers. Currently reading the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. I guess you're starting to see a recurring pattern in my interests, haha.

- I know gaming and anime seems to be the big thing nowadays with everyone, but I don't dabble too much in either. I do have a PS console but only really play Mortal Kombat, although I'd be open to trying other games, maybe. Anime, I watched Naruto, Attack on Titan (never finished this one). I'd also be down to watch others, gimme some recommendations?

- I have many interests but can't seem to stick to one as my absolute favorite.I love going on long walks when the weather's right, recently started learning to crochet and re-learning to knit, am an amateur uke player and resin art dabbler. Amongst others.

- I miss the beach! I would love to travel extensively, and plan to start with places that have beautiful beaches; Seychelles anyone?

- I love learning new languages, been trying on hands on Spanish, Japanese, Italian and French. So far, I seem to have taken to Spanish the most, but am finding Japanese the most intriguing.

- I also love to write, as evidenced by this epistle that I swore was going to be just a short intro. Ha!

About you:

- I'm not gonna ask for much primarily because I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking to get out of this, maybe some light, fun chats to pass the time this weekend, maybe some actual friendships form, maybe a deeper connection? I guess I'm open to anything, please just be a decent human. No misogynistic, homophobic, racist or other such themes will be tolerated. Thanks!

- Open to people ages 25 to 45.

- I'm drawn to curiosity, intellect, wit. Please don't let me carry conversations on my own, I really appreciate good conversationalists.

- This one is kinda cliche, but I love accents. I personally find Aussie or British accents to be just so appealing . Of course I'd love to chat with everyone, just saying that I find that an accent creates intrigue.

- I'd prefer pet-free people as I have found that a lot of pet owners have their personalities completely wrapped around their pets, and I do not want to spend all my time talking about anyone's cats or dogs, respectfully.

- It'd be cool if we at least have a few things in common, it'd give us some icebreaker topics to talk about.
