When you graduated how confident were you with practical skills?

Work Advice

I graduate next week and take the VTNE next month. I feel like I don't know how to do anything. I did my externship at an amazing avian clinic, so it's been months since I even attempted getting blood or placing an IVC on a mammal. Even then I often struggled. I don't have a job yet (not looking for general practice, my background is wildlife rehab), so I'm wondering if clinics expect new techs to be super comfortable or do places generally expect a learning curve.
