Why do some people have so much hate in their heart!

TL/DR: Why are people such assholes to others for minor things like enjoying a hobby, and why some people just lack basic empathy and sympathy for others.

A video recently popped up on my YouTube home page from a channel called Angry Cop, and it was going over the protests going on in Minneapolis. The guy brought up the person that lost their eye from being shot point blank with a non-lethal weapon, and had absolutely no sympathy or empathy for them whatsoever. He even went as far as to make fun of him and bringing up that he's a transgender which I don't think was ever even specified. The comment section was even worse, and was just full of comments making fun of the guy. I feel like the internet has made some people lose their humanity, because I cant imagine seeing someone else's misfortune and laughing at them. This goes for anyone, and is not subject to only the Left or the Right.

Another person that was brought was a protester wearing a fox mask doing a dance for TikTok, and was detained for what I presume was him trespassing. It's not clear if the person was a furry or was just wearing the mask as a joke, but either way he was identified as a furry by the youtuber and his followers. whether the guy was trespassing or not, I don't care. What I do care about is the youtubers reaction as well as his followers reactions. Their were comments that were just digging into this guy just because he allegedly is a furry. I don't get why a harmless hobby is enough for some people to justify his detainment, and even celebrate it because of their skewed views. I understand the furry fandom is stigmatized and has a bad reputation because of some monsters that tried to hide in the fandom. I also understand that the furry fandom is cringe and weird to outsiders and even other furry's. With that said I don't think that just being cringe and weird is enough for people to wish harm on a group of people that enjoy their hobbies in their own community and place. I can understand if someone from a community or fandom is being annoying or cringe in public, because then yeah... you asked for it at that point. But, enjoying something with other like minded people in their own area, and being mad about it, is just weird.

Sorry for the switch up and making it a rant about Furry hate half way through. I just don't understand why some people are so full of hate. And, yes I know that a lot of it has to do with misinformation and social stigmas. I'm just saying that I feel like if people just talked more to their "enemies" or the "other side" then it would solve so much pointless disputes. The same goes for talking to people that you hate only because you have a fabricated image of them in your head. I think people should just talk more to one another, and stop being such assholes to each other. Most of it is just pointless banter that could be solved so easily if people left their bubble, and see how inflated their fears are.

Thanks for reading this far if you did, I appreciate it.
