Poor strategy by Aoinishiki?

Day 14 vs Onosato why did he attack his right side? His good side.

He must have known his left side was compromised, why not exploit it?

Also, I've noticed he hasn't done as many leg attacks or trips. I hope he isn't altering his game to conform to ozeki/yokozuna "standards".

I think in part why Hakuho was so good was because he did what he needed to do to win, full stop.
