Dating Sober. I feel like damaged goods and that no one will want me long term because of my addiction

44F. I’m feeling super down and lonely. My last two long term relationships ended due to my alcoholism and related mental health issues. I got a DUI a year ago and I’m on unsupervised probation for the next two years.

My ex left me when I was doing better because “he didn’t want a future with an addict, even if I’m sober now and he’s afraid of a relapse.”

Just sharing to see if anyone can relate or offer some advice. Thx.
