Electric Everything for the game

I have battery powered gloves. A heated vest. Insoles for my boots charging as we speak. My only concern is the metal detectors. Do I need to have all these power packs in my clear back then hook them up after I get inside? Will I be okay to go through already enjoying my warmth?
