How do you select prompts when tracking for Geo/aiso?

i've seen multiple approaches to how people select prompts for tracking mentions in LLM searches. the approach we take is only focusing on brand-inducing prompts and not informational. one mistake that i've corrected is - not to track aspirational prompts as in not tracking what we want to rank for but checking first what we do actually rank for in google and tracking related prompts.

how do you do it? looking for fresh ideas!
