Husband is upset I’m not getting a job quick enough

I’m not looking for a job that requires a degree, something minimum wage for now as I’m studying Nursing.

I moved from Texas to California about 5 weeks ago and have applied to a few places to no avail. This is upsetting my husband as he thinks I’m not trying hard enough. It hurts because I had a good job in Texas, I just couldn’t transfer as the position wasn’t open in my area and I don’t have my own car right now, so I can’t go too far.

I’ve had 1 interview, applied to 3 more places today. It’s really impacting my self esteem. So far I think I’ve applied to 10+ jobs in the area. I wish my husband would recognise that I am trying my best to get a job, I don’t like being unemployed.
