Dragonball z Kakarot and game sharing
I wanted to make a post so if possible this doesn’t happen to anyone else. If you are borrowing the game from a friend physically or through some form of game share be advised that if they have dlc that you don’t have or you just decide to get the base game, you are entirely blocked from using your save unless you get the dlc. I lost my 154 hour save file because of this and I spent about $100 on the game. So even if you wanted to borrow the dlc from a friend through steam share for example, as soon as you start your save and use the dlc your screwed unless you buy it or always play with their copy. I really feel like that should be stated when the game has multiple dlc’s (two locked behind the master/legendary edition) and with how expensive it is.
In my specific case I bought the Diama pack with the game and dlc so I could play it (I originally steam shared it from a friend). Only to find out I couldn’t load my save. The master edition has two exclusive food items tied to the dlc and if you don’t have it your sol unless you fork over $150 for the master edition. Not only were Bandai no help but same with steam, I couldn’t get a refund due to me getting them as keys and even if I did buy retail I already had 154 hours clocked technically thus not allowing me to refund. So please be careful when sharing the game, I hope this helps someone so they don’t have to go through the hell I went through
