My best friend is acting very wierd lately
Context:I am currently in my fourth and final year of engineering, where placements and everything happen. Placements are when companies come to our university, and we apply through the college, which then gets the credit.
I am in a group of about 10-11 people, and I am close to one girl (you can call her "Jas"). Around eight people have already been placed, except for me, Jas, and two others.
The placement season is about to end, and obviously, everyone is anxious, especially those of us who haven't secured a position yet. Technically, we're tense, but there's very little we can do, such as upskilling, etc.
A week ago, Jas got an interview call from Wells Fargo, and she didn't tell anyone except me because she thought they might jinx it. I kept it a secret. It's a great company; I also wanted to get in, but whatever, I didn't get the call. I wasn't jealous or anything, and being a good friend, I even offered to help her because it was a virtual interview (I thought I'll prompt her the answers). We had university exams going on simultaneously, so she couldn't have done it at any other time. She has already completed it and hasn't told me, but that's not even the problem. the problem is She has asked me to help her AFTER SHE HAS GIVEN THE INTERVIEW isn't it wierd???? and i get to know after a week and she tells me me "i wanted to tell you but idk i didn't" I'm not complaining that she didn't tell me. But why fake something? BRO WHAT DO YOU MEANN?
All these days I hadn't asked her knowingly because I knew she might think that I would jinx it but see If she thought so, she shouldn't have talked about how the interview might go or anything, knowing that she had already given it. We literally were on a whole phone call, and she was talking about the interview (after she gave it), and I offered to help her then too. I don't know what to do. Should I confront her?
(I am a person who actually gives people their space. If they don't want to talk about it, I won't ask them much. But imagine talking about something for so long when you are already done with that situation; it's really weird for me.)
why simply waste my time? and I literally gave her suggestions like a stupid person. I feel so dumb right now because she should've not talked about it completely if she wasn't planning to tell me anything or was done with it.
Few other instances where i had to question my whole friendship was
- She had helped another friend of mine clear the online assessment for the same company that the other friend got into.
Now, Jas has not been placed, and she is literally expecting favors from that girl. She comes and asks her about interviews, but I have no idea what more that other girl should do.

I got my hair colored, and my mom was chill about it too. As soon as I showed her the pictures, she didn't even tell me how it looked. She was like, "Bro, I also want to get it!" and "How did you convince them?"

I joined the gym. She didn't even ask about it. As soon as she found out, she asked, "How did you convince your parents to sponsor it?" and "I also want to go!"
