Food Aggression??? (Advice)
Good evening,
So I have two sets of mice that have been introduced. I started off with 2 “feeder mice” and then took on three fancy mice in a rehome situation. Did the carrier method and now they are in a 40 gallon with a tank top. They have been together now for two weeks. In the tank. They all get along great until I start handing out treats. blood hasn’t been drawn thankfully but when food gets involved the fancy mice become aggressive with two “feeder” mice. Lots of chasing lots of squeaking. I give them plenty of food. They have a great balanced diet. I literally have made them food. Got a dehydrator for fruits and veggies to give fresh and not fresh. They have tons of clutter and lots of enrichment.
How do I solve this? I know two weeks is a short time so is it even an issue or something more serious? 🧐
