PSA if you go to the hospital

If you go in for a tachycardia episode, PLEASE make sure you ask them to run tests for infection just in case. Especially if they just dismiss it.

My friend almost went septic because the doctor at the ER was dismissing her symptoms. We were there for 4.5 hours, no one even checked on her. We ended up leaving because her blood sugar was dropping, they told her she couldn't eat just in case. She goes to another hopsital and it only took 2 hours to get her antibiotics.

I'm only sharing because it's such a common thing for doctors to dismiss people with POTS. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself 💜
