Frozen Anole on our porch

An anole lizard was in the middle of our walkway, maybe it got caught out unable to reach a covered or warmer spot? In a panic my daugher scooped it up and put it in a tupperware (with airholes and a dish of water for some humidity). It was black and frozen solid but has warmed up some and is breathing and moved a bit. Now what? Can we keep it inside until tomorrow? Or did we mess it up by bringing it inside ?
