Autoimmune Struggles
Im (33F) struggling with extreme fatigue and it’s ruining my life.
When I was 9 I had a severe allergic reaction (Steven’s Johnson Syndrom) to an antibiotic and was in the hospital for a prolonged period of time.
Since then I’ve had issues with my immune system over reacting and constant inflammation. This ranges from severe burning eyes from put anything on my skin ( sunscreen, lotion, makeup) to extreme allergy symptoms when traveling anywhere to the point that I can’t go outside.
I had a child two years ago and since then my symptoms have drastically worsened.
My rheumatologist suspects Sjorgens and put me on Hydroxycloraquine. I’ve been taking it the past 6 months but it has not helped. My fatigue is ruining my life, my eyes constantly burning and I feel like I’m getting sinus infections all the time. The only thing that has ever made me feel better is antibiotics but the effect wears off 3-6 months after taking them and I start the cycle all over again.
Looking for any tips or ideas to get my life back.
