New to Hifi, I try to get into it.
Hey!
I'm "new" to speakers for the living room and so on.
Just as a general background:
I love good sounding music, my father is also kind of a Hifi enjoyer, but stopped doing research in around 2014/15. He bought good equipment an said: If I stay in this bubble any longer I will buy new speakers at some point and I don't want to put more money into this anymore.
I installed new systems in our cars to get better music, but because I wasn't home a lot I could never justify spending it for our living room. Now I am more at home. I bought a Sonos beam 2, because I had 2 Sonos ones already gifted a couple of years ago, but I want to step up my game slightly.
My goal is to get a 5.1.2/5.1.4 system with good fronts for listening to music, but also watching movies. I would listen to the music in stereo, and use dolby atmos for movies.
I start really low so I will notice mostly anything and everything will be an upgrade for me.
Im from europe and my budget is around 2000-3000€ (including reciever. I know that is not much for Hifi but I also don't need the best of the best. I listen to vocal heavy music a lot and sometimes stuff like DnB and electro. I just want something that sounds fuller and where vocals really pop out on higher volumes. I am also ready to buy second hand, because it is wayyyy cheaper.
I think I will go for the denon avc-x3800h, just because I can get it for around 800€ and should work fine for everything.
Do you have recommendations for the speakers?
