Is ranked unplayable?

As in, literally impossible to get into queue? A friend and I got back to ow after a long time and quick play finds games very fast, but ranked 5v5 was raking 15+ minutes and we ended up cancelling queue. We are still unranked an he was queuing dps while I was queuing tank. Supposedly dps has a 6> minutes queue rn. Which is technically true since 15 is higher than 6 hahahah

Anyways, is there any reason like hidden mmr disparity or whatever? Or is ranked sadly dead?

We didnt try 6v6 btw, the game just wouldnt let us queue together because aparently we are a "wide group" (we dont even have a rank yet though). Maybe 6v6 is where all the players are?
